Activity description 

This course equips you with tools to apply our standard problem-solving model.
Learn how to:

  • Identify and contain a problem effectively
  • Correct an issue with data-driven decision-making
  • Prevent a recurring issue with proactive measures
  • Apply problem-solving techniques in a team setting

It is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physicians, PAs, psychologists and social workers.

At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify and contain problems effectively using a standardized problem-solving model.
  • Describe how to contain problems early and effectively to minimize impact using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Evaluate and correct issues using data-driven decision-making to implement effective and workable solutions.
  • Distinguish root causes from symptoms and apply proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
  • Apply structured problem-solving tools and methods to analyze and resolve issues in daily work.
  • Collaborate with team members to apply problem-solving techniques in cross-functional settings.

Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be provided to learners upon completion of activity requirements, enabling participants to register with licensing boards or associations that have not been pre-approved for credits.
