Epic Provider Essentials
Activity description
As we transition to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, this training activity is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the new platform effectively. The shift impacts every aspect of clinical practice from documentation and workflow to communication and patient safety. In this course, healthcare professionals will learn how to complete the essentials of an office visit and procedure visit, including reviewing the chart, documenting problems and diagnoses, writing notes, placing orders, and how to apply best practices for handling In Basket messages and following up on patient communications. By participating in this activity, learners will improve efficiency, and contribute to a smoother, safer transition that ultimately enhances patient care.
PLEASE NOTE: These materials are intended ONLY for those who attended the live Epic Provider Essentials session. Completion of the post-activity materials concludes your participation in the activity. The date on your certificate of attendance will reflect the date that credit was claimed.
