Common Spine Case Studies
These materials are only intended for those that have completed the "Common Spine Case Studies (CAMEO)." This activity is a 9 week email based education course that contains common case studies within the field of orthopedics.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, Pas and physicians who have an interest in spinal diagnoses.
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify when diagnostic imaging is indicated with low back pain.
- Recognize the prevalence of imaging findings of degenerative disease in asymptomatic populations.
- Discuss the characteristics of cervical myelopathy (CM).
- Describe both therapeutic and surgical treatment methods for spondylolisthesis.
- Compare symptoms in neurogenic and vascular claudication.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
The participant will be awarded up to 1.0 contact hour(s) of credit for attendance and completion of supplemental materials.
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME and ANCC.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to learners upon completion of activity requirements, enabling participants to register with licensing boards or associations that have not been pre-approved for credits. To apply for credit types not listed above, participants should use the procedure established by the specific organization with which they wish to obtain credit.
