Renal Medicine Case Studies
These materials are only intended for those that have completed the "Renal Medicine Case Studies (CAMEO)." This activity is a 10 week email based education course that contains common case studies within the field of nephrology.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, Pas and physicians who have an interest in renal medicine.
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize common causes of chronic kidney disease.
- Discuss how to diagnose and treat renal disease.
- Identify dietary and medication recommendations for secondary prevention of nephrolithiasis.
- Investigate the underlying etiology of syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).

OptumHealth Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
The participant will be awarded up to 1.0 contact hour(s) of credit for attendance and completion of supplemental materials.
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME and ANCC.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to learners upon completion of activity requirements, enabling participants to register with licensing boards or associations that have not been pre-approved for credits. To apply for credit types not listed above, participants should use the procedure established by the specific organization with which they wish to obtain credit.
