This activity is intended ONLY for those who attended in the live presentation on June 18 in Hadley, MA.

This activity will explore the current evidence-based approaches to treating pediatric anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Dr. Mona Potter will walk participants through recent innovations that are shaping clinical practice, focusing on three key areas: (1) evolving treatment delivery models and therapeutic approaches, (2) the growing role of digital therapeutics, and (3) selected complementary and integrative interventions. Learners will gain practical insights into how these strategies can be used to improve access to care, engagement, and outcomes for children and adolescents.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and counselors.

At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss evidence-based treatment approaches for pediatric anxiety and OCD, including core components associated with improved outcomes. 
  • Describe the challenges associated with traditional approaches to treating pediatric anxiety and OCD and identify innovative solutions to address those challenges.
  • Indicate the benefits, challenges and ethical considerations of technology as part of treatment of pediatric anxiety and OCD.
