This program is a series of monthly lectures, pertinent to primary care for new graduate advanced practitioners. The goal of this series is to provide an introduction to specific diagnoses, work ups and specialty content as it relates to primary care.

Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of all new graduate advanced practitioners, most commonly nurse practitioners and PAs practicing in the primary care setting.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize sexually transmitted infections and identify genital ulcer disease.
- Describe management and treatment strategies for syphilis.
- Identify Lyme disease based on symptoms, physical findings, and possible exposure
to ticks.
