Optum Behavioral Health Solutions Grand Rounds

January 22, 2025 to March 13, 2025

Activity description

The Behavioral Health Grand Rounds focuses on evidence-based practices and approaches for managing complex diseases frequently encountered in clinical practice. It provides a collaborative space for health care professionals from multiple disciplines to develop solutions that positively impact health care outcomes, including addressing gaps in care and available resources.

The GRs are designed for case managers, counselors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, PAs, psychologists and social workers.

Upon completion of the GRs, participants will:

  • Identify interventions and best practices that improve health care outcomes, including therapeutic strategies, counseling, and support services or resources.
  • Discuss preventive strategies that can increase awareness of risk factors and improve communication within the health care team, as well as with family, caregivers, and community support services.
  • Recognize social drivers of health and how they contribute to readmissions and hinder an individual’s ability to thrive in the community.
