About the presenter

Dr. Matthew Olin joined Greensboro Orthopaedics in 2004. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, with fellowship training in complex total hip and knee joint replacement surgery. He provides treatment for degenerative conditions of the hip and knee joints.

Dr. Olin completed the Otto E. Aufranc Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Mass. During his year-long fellowship, he participated in a large volume of primary and complex revision joint replacement surgeries. Furthermore, his training focused on advanced surgical techniques in hip and knee replacement in addition to working with alternative bearing surfaces.

This surgical technique offers a patient less pain and scarring as well as an anticipated shorter recovery time. Furthermore, Dr. Olin has been certified and master course trained for the BioMet Oxford Partial Knee Replacement since its introduction to the U.S. in 2004.

Providing care of the highest quality is the central focus of Dr. Olin’s approach to practicing medicine. He strives to educate patients about their condition and treatment options to allow them to make informed decisions about their care. He prides himself in building positive relationships with his patients. Dr. Olin values being able to serve his patients and assisting them in returning to an active lifestyle.
