November 12, 2025

PLEASE NOTE: These materials are intended ONLY for those who attended the live webcast held on November 12, 2025.

Activity description

This live webcast aims to equip primary care providers with the knowledge and tools necessary for the early identification and management of atrial fibrillation (AFib). Participants will review the epidemiology and risk factors associated with AFib, explore the clinical decision-making process for rate versus rhythm control, and apply current evidence-based guidelines for stroke prevention. Emphasis will be placed on practical approaches to risk stratification, shared decision-making, and optimizing long-term outcomes in the primary care setting.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, PAs, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other HCPs who have an interest in learning about atrial fibrillation.

At the end of this webcast, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology, risk factors and clinical implications of AFib.
  • Differentiate between rate and rhythm control strategies and recognize appropriate indications for each.
  • Apply evidence-based approaches for stroke prevention in individuals with AFib.
