This activity will review diagnostic criteria from the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) study on chronic kidney disease (CKD).  It will also discuss KDIGO guidelines for outpatient management of CKD and related comorbid conditions.

    • Recognize complications of CKD in patients with CKD and diabetes mellitus and/or cardiovascular disease.
