Dermatology Pearls for Primary Care

February 8, 2022

Activity description

These materials are only intended for those that attended the live activity, Dermatology Pearls for Primary Care, held February 8, 2022.

The wide array of skin diseases and infections encountered in healthcare practice necessitates that the healthcare provider (HCP) stay current on dermatological conditions, which affect as many as one in three people at any given time. This activity will offer updated information on best practices in diagnostic approaches and treatment options for many common dermatologic conditions, and will discuss the use of teledermatology, providing tips on how HCPs can become more comfortable with using this modality to provide thorough clinical care. Considerations surrounding the optimal use of topical corticosteroids and risk factors for melanoma will be highlighted in this informative session.
