Bone Health and Osteoporosis (On Demand)

Activity description

These materials are only intended for those that have watched the on demand materials for Bone Health and Osteoporosis.

Because osteoporosis is associated with a high rate of morbidity and mortality in affected individuals, frequently leading to decreased quality of life, disability, and death, patients should be regularly screened for this skeletal disorder of continued bone loss. This activity will provide participants with a thorough review of the current approach to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in alignment with the latest evidence-based guidelines, with an additional focus on treatment plans centered around preventing future fractures in high-risk patients.
