These materials are only intended for those that attended the live activity, An Approach to Common Upper Extremity Musculoskeletal Disorders (UEMSD) Utilizing Anatomical Location, held May 10, 2022.

UEMSD are very common and can present a major source of disability in daily life. This activity will discuss the early development of a differential diagnosis of common UEMSD of the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist utilizing anatomical location as an orientation point. It will also provide an overview of optimal approaches to the initial evaluation and treatment of these disorders..

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, PAs and physicians who have an interest in learning about developing an early differential diagnosis for UEMSD, and improving the identification, evaluation and treatment approach toward common UEMSD.

  • Develop an early differential diagnosis of common UEMSD utilizing anatomical location.
