Urgent Care Tips and Tricks

These materials are only intended for those that attended the live activity held on February 7, 2023.
The act of providing value-based care in the urgent care (UC) setting can be enhanced by incorporating simple tips and “tricks” that enable UC providers to achieve a thorough and streamlined approach to clinical care. This activity will outline strategies and advice that can be applied to urgent care and primary care practices for a variety of medical conditions and minor procedures.

Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, PAs and physicians who have an interest in learning about strategies to enhance and streamline urgent care and primary care practices for a variety of medical conditions and minor procedures.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify UC management approaches to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Describe strategies to improve practices for minor procedures performed in UC.
- Discuss how the learned tips and tricks can be applied to primary care practice.

Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be provided to learners upon completion of activity requirements, enabling participants to register with licensing boards or associations that have not been pre-approved for credits. To apply for credit types not listed above, participants should use the procedure established by the specific organization with which they wish to obtain credit.
