This activity will delve into the complex world of stimulant management in pediatric mental health care. It will explore the distinctions between various stimulant classes and formulations, offer detailed guidance for selecting the most suitable option and address the management of potential side effects. Primary Care practitioners will gain valuable knowledge and skills through shared clinical pearls and insights that will enhance their ability to make informed decisions in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related disorders in pediatric patients.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, PAs and physicians who have an interest in learning about stimulant management in pediatric mental health care.
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Articulate the differences between various stimulant classes and formulations.
- Identify approaches to selecting the appropriate stimulant for each patient.
- Describe how to skillfully evaluate patient responses to treatment, including symptom relief and side effects.
- Discuss the Bend Health treatment modules for ADHD and Executive Dysfunction.
