Precision-Guided Digital Behavioral Health
These materials are only intended for those that attended the live activity held on January 10, 2023.
Reliant Medical Group, in partnership with UHG New Product Development, has deployed a clinical model of triaging mental health patients to appropriate digital tools—including virtual reality and app- and device-based applications—to help them develop skills related to managing their specific challenges. The RMG Practice-Research Network has studied the experiences and the effectiveness of these interventions in over 500 patients triaged into one of seven digital treatment plans. This activity will review this clinical program, discuss what has been learned to-date, and provide an overview of each intervention currently in our ecosystem.
This activity is jointly provided by Optum Health Education and Reliant Medical Group.
There was no commercial support received for this activity.
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, PAs and physicians who have an interest in learning about emerging and innovative digital treatment tools for mental health and Reliant’s clinical model for connecting the right patient with the right treatment.
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe how clinical judgement and patient data are used to guide precision recommendations for treatment.
- Identify why providers should have confidence recommending the RMG precision-digital clinical program to patients in need of mental health care.
- Discuss early evidence on the effectiveness of digital interventions.
