Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, PAs, psychologists, social workers, physicians and other HCPs who have an interest in learning about a frontline physician's experience in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dana Lustbader, MD, is Chief of the Department of Palliative Care for ProHEALTH, a large multispecialty group serving 1.5 million people in the New York metropolitan area. She served as the Senior Medical Advisor for Aspire Health, making it the nation’s largest home palliative care company. She was also the founder and CMO of ProHEALTH Supportive Care serving patients with multiple chronic conditions via telemedicine and home visits. Prior to that, Dr. Lustbader was the Director of ICU at Northwell Health working as an intensivist. She also founded the Department of Palliative Medicine and its physician-training fellowship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Lustbader answered a plea from Governor Cuomo and returned to work as an intensivist in the overwhelmed hospitals in New York. She is also a Professor of Medicine at Northwell Hofstra School of Medicine and a nationally recognized expert in sepsis, critical care and palliative care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine, completed Internal Medicine training at New York University Medical Center and completed a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at St. Vincent's Hospital. Dr. Lustbader is triple board certified in Palliative Care, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
