Behavioral Health: The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Activity description

This activity consists of recorded presentations from the "29th Annual National Conference" held virtually Dec. 2–3, 2020.

Mental health is an important part of overall health and well-being. The COVID-19 pandemic can be stressful for adults and children. Fear and anxiety can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions. How individuals respond to and cope with stress during the COVID-19 pandemic can depend on many factors. This session will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on overall health and emotional well-being and the importance of integrating the psychosocial needs and support for patients, health care workers, and the public during the pandemic.
