Understanding OCT-A: Advanced retinal imaging for diabetic eye care
Activity description
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) is a noninvasive imaging test and allows clinicians to detect diseases of the retina that affect the ocular blood vessels at early stages. This activity is designed to enhance clinicians’ understanding and application of OCT-A in practice. Participants will explore the evolution of OCT-A technology, compare it with traditional imaging modalities and examine its clinical relevance. Learners will build confidence in reading OCT-A images to support clinical decision-making and integrate this advanced imaging tool into their diagnostic and treatment workflows to enhance patient care and diagnostic efficiency.
