OptumHealth appreciates your support in  booking your hotel reservation at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The number of hotel  rooms used for this conference directly impacts hotel rates, conference costs  and registration fees.
Hotel room rate: $175.00  Sun.–Thur. / $195 Fri.–Sat. 
  The conference block of rooms is in the Palace Tower. Rates are per room per  night, single or double occupancy, and subject to prevailing state and local  taxes. Each additional person will be charged $30 per night, with a maximum of  four persons per guestroom. A one-night’s room and tax deposit is required and  will be billed immediately to the cardholder’s account. The deposit will be  refunded for reservations canceled more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to  the scheduled arrival date. 
Hotel room release date: Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. Reservations made after this date, or after the room block is sold out, will be at the prevailing room rate and subject to availability. This is a popular destination—especially during Super Bowl—so reserve your room early!

Arriving in Las Vegas

  Taxicabs—The cost of a one-way taxi ride to a Las Vegas Strip hotel is  approximately $14–$20, depending on traffic.
  Go to the east side of baggage  claim, outside door exits 1–4. Airport personnel are available  on the taxi curb to assist passengers. Taxicabs are also available at the  McCarran Rent-A-Car Center.
Please note: Some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Customers should notify the attendant if they  plan to use a credit card for payment.
Shuttles—One-way fares from the airport  to hotels on the Las Vegas Strip start at $6.50.
  Go to the west side of baggage  claim, outside door exits 7–13. Please note that there are  both group shuttle and “for-hire” stretch limousine services.
Getting Around the Las Vegas Strip
The Las Vegas Monorail is a convenient, quick, hassle-free way to travel among the Las Vegas Strip hotels. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3:a.m. Friday through Sunday. Click here for ticketing information and route map.
Program Materials
Program materials will be in electronic format. You will receive an e-mail on or around Jan. 27 with instructions on how to access the materials prior to the conference. In addition, you will receive a CD-ROM at the conference that contains the program materials.
Conference Attire
Attire for the conference is business casual. Although every effort is made to maintain a comfortable learning environment, meeting room temperatures can fluctuate greatly and may be difficult to control. The temperature is often cool in the meeting room. Therefore, bringing along a jacket or sweater is recommended.
