Series description

Grand Rounds is a UnitedHealthcare Clinical Services (UCS) educational program designed for professional staff to identify clinical and medical management issues and provide updates that may affect the health outcomes of UnitedHealth Group (UHG) members. This program is structured to grant continuing medical educational (CME) credits and nursing continuing education units (CEU) to participants and fully meet the requirements of an accredited postgraduate medical education program. The Grand Rounds program will be regularly reviewed and directed by the Grand Rounds Committee (GRC) to ensure all presentations align with United Health Care (UHC) corporate goals, clinical guidelines, and relevant academic resources. The GRC will use feedback from annual attendee and presenter surveys to choose topics, prioritizing those most recently requested and those addressing current needs. They will recommend speakers and topics for future presentations and review the entire program annually. This review, including training topics and participant data, is then presented to the National Medical Care Management Committee (NMCMC).
