Risk Coding Education for Health Care Professionals
Activity description
This activity is designed to enhance health care professionals' understanding and application of risk coding in clinical practice. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge about the criteria for diagnosing and coding chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, major depressive disorder (MDD) and active malignant conditions. Additionally, the activity will cover medication adherence, including criteria, common pitfalls and practical tips to improve adherence. Attendees will be equipped with the skills necessary to accurately diagnose, code and manage these conditions, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, PAs and physicians who have an interest in learning about risk coding in clinical practice.

- Review the proper criteria for diagnosing and coding COPD, MDD and active malignant conditions.
