The History and Future: Kidney, Liver and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation will be held at the Georgia Aquarium, conveniently located in the heart of Atlanta and adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park. Georgia Aquarium—the largest in the world—is home to tens of thousands of animals, including 500 species from around the world. Centennial Olympic Park was home to the 1996 Olympic Games and boasts the world’s largest Olympic Ring Fountain. Within walking distance is Atlanta’s famous thoroughfare, the Midtown Mile on Peachtree Street, where you’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants and local attractions.

Hotel parking: Self-parking rates are $2.00 every 15 minutes or $22 per day maximum. Valet rates are: up to one hour $10; one–three hours $15; three–six hours $20; six–24 hours $26. The fee for a lost ticket is $26.00. In-and-out privileges are allowed for valet parking only.

Program Materials

Program materials will be in electronic format. Approximately one week prior to the conference, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access the program materials. In addition, you will receive a CD-ROM at the conference that contains the program materials. Please look for the e-mail announcement on or around October 21 for more detailed instructions.

Conference Attire

Attire for the conference is business casual. Although every effort is made to maintain a comfortable learning environment, meeting room temperatures can fluctuate greatly and may be difficult to control. The temperature is often cool in the meeting room. Therefore, bringing along a jacket or sweater is recommended.
