Basics of Hand Surgery
Activity description
These materials are only intended for those that attended the live activity held on April 11, 2023.
This activity will present a venue for informal discussion around common hand problems seen in primary care, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis, and will invite informal discussion on these conditions. Participants will review how to perform a thorough examination of the hand and the appropriate diagnostic tests for common hand conditions. Treatment options—ranging from conservative measures to invasive interventions such as corticosteroid injections and surgery—will be reviewed.

Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians who have an interest in learning about the diagnosis and treatment of commonly seen hand conditions.
