Conference Location and Accommodations

The 27th Annual National Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis conveniently located on Nicollet Mall where will you enjoy an incredible array of Twin Cities' attractions, from shopping to sports and anything in between.

Take in the beautiful views of the city skyline or Loring Park and experience the vibrant downtown area from your Hyatt Regency guestroom. Rooms are uniquely designed with Scandinavian-inspired décor and adorned with local artwork. Rest easily with comfortable, premium bedding, and enjoy many of the same comforts of home, like large flat-screen TVs and an iHome stereo with iPod® dock.

Parking, Ground Transportation and Maps: The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is approximately 12 miles from the Minneapolis International Airport and is easily accessible via taxi, light rail, or airport shuttle.

You are strongly encouraged to make your hotel reservation early. Once our group's block of rooms is sold out, it may be difficult to secure a downtown hotel reservation.

Hotel Discounted Room Rate: There are a limited number of rooms available for Saturday, Oct. 13 through Tuesday, Oct. 16 at a special conference rate of $209.00 (to check availability for Oct. 17, please contact the Housing Contact listed below). Complimentary guest room Internet is available for conference guests. (Rates are per room per night and subject to prevailing state and local taxes.) Cancellations within 72 hours prior to the day of arrival will be charged and/or forfeit the first night's room and tax. Refer to your Hyatt confirmation email for cancellation policy details.

Hotel Reservation Deadline: Extended to Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, or when rooms sell out, whichever comes first. You are strongly encouraged to make your reservation before the group block is released on Sept. 28. Reservations received after Sept. 28, or after the room block is sold out, will be accepted on a space-available basis at the prevailing room rate.

Conference Attire

Attire for the conference is business. Although every effort is made to maintain a comfortable learning environment, meeting room temperatures can fluctuate greatly and may be difficult to control. Since it is difficult to adjust meeting room temperatures to suit individual preferences, please bring a sweater or jacket, and/or wear layered clothing to ensure your comfort.
