Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses and other health care professionals (HCPs) who are interested in learning about ethical and racial disparities and pharmacotherapy.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the issues surrounding racial and ethical disparities.
  • Identify factors that affect health disparities and pharmacotherapy.
  • Describe racial and ethnic disparities in prevalence of chronic disease conditions.
  • Recognize the various roles of clinician’s in eliminating disparities and identifying possible solutions.
