Enjoy a private tour of our Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Programs. Experience a child’s view of an ideal, child-friendly health care facility, as we tour our pediatric clinical areas. Observe an organ transplant surgery with live commentary from the transplant team. Learn about the latest in transplantation research during a panel discussion and Q & A with BMT and SOT physicians. Welcome Reception and Exhibition Grand Opening

Join us as we officially celebrate the opening of this year’s conference. Visit with exhibitors/supporters representing Centers of Excellence medical centers and industry organizations while networking with other attendees, including Optum executives, clinicians, and staff. The Welcome Reception is THE place to be as you relax with great food and beverages before heading out for a night on the town!

Health and Wellness Activities

Wellness Screenings

When: Wednesday, Sept. 25
Time: 7:00–11:30 a.m.
Location: Minnehaha Room, 2nd Floor

Back by popular demand, Wellness Screenings will be offered to all conference attendees at no cost during this year’s conference! Preventive health screenings and flu vaccinations will be provided on Wednesday between 7:00 and 11:30 a.m. You may participate in one or both these offerings. Screenings take approximately 15–20 minutes. To participate in these health and wellness activities, you must sign up for your health screening appointment at (866) 935-5462 or online at https://register.wellness-inc.com/optumnationalconference. Instructions for scheduling an appointment will also be included in your registration confirmation.

6th Annual Wellness Walk

When: Wednesday, Sept. 25
Time: 7:20 a.m.—Check-In, Nicollet Ballroom Promenade
           7:30 a.m.—Wellness Walk Begins

Join your fellow conferees for a 2.5 or 4 mile walk/run (approximately 30 minutes). Take in the colorful, vibrant and charming surroundings as you trek down the famed Nicollet Mall and along the historic Mississippi riverfront. Participants will receive a 2013 Wellness Walk t-shirt.  >Route Map
