This educational activity consists of recorded presentations from Advances in the Management of Oncology Patients held in Orlando,Florida on April 6-8, 2011.
Both autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation are viable treatment alternatives for the non-Hodgkin lymphomas. The decision as to which treatment to pursue is individualized based on the type of lymphoma, the stage of the disease, and the general health of the patient. This presentation will discuss the role of allogeneic transplantation in non-Hodgkin lymphoma and address the prognostic indicators that influence outcomes.
