ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONThis activity consists of a recorded presentation from the "34th Annual National Conference" held in Minneapolis, Minn., May 13-15, 2025.

This session will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the role of genetic testing in pediatric oncology, focusing on the use of germline and tumor genetic testing in diagnosing and treating pediatric cancers. It will explore the development and application of rare-disease specific drugs as models for targeted therapy and analyze the differences and similarities in cancer development between pediatric and adult patients, highlighting the implications for treatment strategies. Participants will also develop strategies for incorporating genetic testing and targeted therapies into routine clinical practice.

This activity will discuss a comprehensive overview of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) that covers diagnostic criteria, prevalence, and common challenges. Despite the increasing number of diagnoses, these disorders are still often misunderstood or missed by HCPs. Current treatment approaches, including behavioral therapies, medications, and educational interventions will be discussed. Practical applications of these treatment strategies will be illustrated and innovative research and future directions in the field will be highlighted.

This activity will explore the ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) can improve organ allocation and transplantation medicine. This session will delve into how AI-driven algorithms enhance organ-matching precision, help predict transplant outcomes and optimize postoperative care. Participants will gain insight into the practical integration of AI into transplant practices, learn innovative strategies, and discuss real-world examples that demonstrate improved patient care and improve transplant success rates.
