Immunotherapy for Advanced Prostate Cancer

This educational activity consists of recorded presentations from Advances in the Management of Oncology Patients held in Orlando,Florida on April 6-8, 2011.
Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men. Prostate cancer patients who have advanced disease and no longer respond to standard therapies might become the first to benefit from a new type of treatment. This presentation will discuss current treatment modalities for the different stages of prostate cancer, describe prostate cancer immunotherapy and explore prolonged survival in men with advanced disease.

At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to

  1. Describe prostate cancer immunotherapy and explore prolonged survival in men with advanced disease.
